Who knows what the future holds. Oh wait…what? Hot Tub Time Machine 2 does? You better believe it! In the new film, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, and Daily Show alum Rob Corddry, find themselves in the future. In a clip released by UPROXX, the guys watch The Daily Show with Jessica Williams, realizing fast that they have travelled to the year 2025. We know it is all just fiction, they also mention President Neil Patrick Harris, but maybe the writers of HTTM 2 are on to something.

The clip surfaced days after Jon Stewart broke the world’s heart by announcing his retirement from The Daily Show. While, technically Stewart was not the first host (Craig Kilborn was forgettable the first), the show wouldn’t be what it is today without him at the helm.  So after a sixteen year run, he had decided to leave the show, leaving people to wonder who is set to replace him.

Earlier today, in a story about the film’s psychic clip, Bustle wrote that replacing Jon Stewart with the brilliant Jessica Williams could be a great decision. They state, “For The Daily Show to have a young woman of color formatting the news into the satirical, hilarious, informative, educational way that The Daily Show fans, young and old, have come to live by would be such an important move.” If any show is capable of the change, The Daily Show is practically the perfect choice.

So far, there is no official word on who will be taking over the hosting gig, but let’s just say that Jessica Williams definitely has our vote!
