This is why we love you Key & Peele.
Key & Peele‘s Super Bowl Special was full of hilarious sketches poking fun at the NFL. A number of clips from the show have been gaining a large amount of views on YouTube. In one of the more popular clips, the guys play two of Seattle’s more popular players, Marshawn Lynch (Peele) and Richard Sherman (Key).
Sherman and Lynch are holding a pre-game press conference and are not happy at all about the recent Oscar Snubs. “I am not a member of the Academy, but it seems like things are a little backwards there.” Sherman argues, in reference to Selma’s director Ava DuVernay not receiving a nomination. So on point, Sherman. Lynch, as usually, doesn’t have much to add except repeatedly saying “biscuits and gravy.” Cool story, Lynch.
We don’t want to spoil too much of this hilarious clip, but make sure to catch the end when Lynch finally does give his two cents on the Oscar nominations.
