Netflix Acquires 'The Blacklist' For $2 Million An Episode

Not bad for a freshman drama....

Netflix has acquired streaming rights to NBC crime drama (from Sony Pictures Television) The Blacklist for $2 million per episode. The $2 million price tag will be the largest per episode fee paid by a subscription based video on demand company for a television show. While Netflix is the first to get streaming privileges Sony will also be selling the drama to broadcast and cable networks for syndication. Not bad for a freshman drama.

My name is Lizzette, but feel free to call me Lizz. I binge watch TV shows I've already seen, I'm constantly quoting movies, and most importantly I love pop culture.
